Our wedding venue is located between two renowned wine regions: Franciacorta to the west and Lugana to the east.
For visiting wineries, booking in advance is recommended; tastings typically cost between €25 and €100.
Franciacorta#
The region Franciacorta, south of Lake Iseo, is famous for its sparkling wines produced by the traditional bottle-fermentation method. Franciacorta Brut and Satèn are Italy’s answer to Champagne. Visit a historic winery and take a tour with tasting. Famous names include Ferghettina, Ca’ del Bosco, and Monte Rossa.
Lugana#
Located on the southern shore of Lake Garda, the Lugana region produces excellent white wines, mainly from the Turbiana grape. Lugana is a fresh, mineral white wine that pairs perfectly with freshwater fish. Drive through the vineyards around Sirmione and Desenzano. Recommended wineries for a visit and tasting include Ca’ dei Frati, Ca’ Maiol, and Olivini.
